YEW TRAIL NEWS

The School holidays are fast approaching, signalling an end to our first school term at the Yew Trail. Eight Schools have enjoyed the wonderful facilities since March bringing over 500 children and staff and bookings are already coming in for September.

The whole site provides the stimulus to learn about the environment, enjoy the outdoors and for schools the opportunity to link the day’s activities to a wide variety of curriculum subjects. This fantastic facility is ideal for children of all ages, abilities and diverse backgrounds; from mainstream and special schools, youth groups and uniformed organisations, play groups and holiday schemes.

In addition the Yurt is available for hire. It provides a wonderful, peaceful setting for artists, painting groups, photographers, corporate away days and those looking for relaxation in a truly tranquil setting.

Make your next visit a visit to the Yew Trail and enjoy a  ‘A real wilderness experience on your doorstep’
